Description
Sparkwood is Glacier Point Software's fireworks screen saver. It displays realistic 3d fireworks that the camera is able to pan around, though it usually remains static.
Sparkwood is the first true 3D Virtual Reality simulation of a Fireworks exhibition. The simulation is surprisingly realistic, taking into account the forces of gravity, inertia and air resistance.
Sparkwood normally uses the 640x350 VGA mode, but will swap to 640x480 if the configuration pane is opened.
Sparkwood and a few other Glacier Point Software screensavers were used to promote the 3d graphics library used to produce them, XYZ++.
